  • Ganga Garden – Ganga Garden is a small, friendly, informal hotel set in tranquil gardens on the banks of the Bentota River (ganga means river hence the name). Situated close to the town of Aluthgama approximately 2-3 hours drive from the airport between Beruwala and Bentota. We are hidden away from the hustle and bustle of the main Galle Road. You can relax in the shade of the garden or sit watching life go by on the river. There is easy access to both Beruwala and Bentota beaches by boat. Watersports, fishing/boat trips, sea fishing and diving are available. You can fish from our own jetty, don’t forget your rod! All six ensuite rooms have hot water, A/C, fan and simply but tastefully furnished with locally handcrafted mahogany furniture. Enjoy dining on the jetty or in the open restaurant overlooking the garden and the river. Cooking to suit your taste, if it is not on the menu then just ask! Sri Lankan curries, plenty of seafood but also many Western dishes. Arrangements can be made for airport transfers and island trips.
